How to Organize Food Storage Containers in Drawers

One of the simplest ways to organize food storage containers is to create a divided section where you nest the containers on one side of the drawer and store the lids by standing them upright on the other side of the drawer. That way, you can file through the lids to easily find the correct size. Using an adjustable, spring-loaded drawer divider like this can be the easiest solution to keep your food storage containers organized (found here):

If your lids are a little too tall for your drawer, you can simply slide the drawer divider as needed to allow the tallest lids to lean just enough to fit under the drawer.

If your drawer is deep enough for your tallest lids, you can use an organizer like this (found here):

How to Organize Food Storage Containers in Cabinets

If you have the space to store your containers with the lids attached, you can store them in either the drawer or cabinet, wherever they fit. If your cabinet does not have the space to store your containers with the lids attached, you can nest the containers separately from your lids. To contain your lids, you can use a simple magazine file holder or a few (found here):

This bin below can contain both your containers and your lids together. You can pull the whole bin down from your cabinet (found here):
