Today’s quick tip to help organize your kitchen drawers is to separate your cooking utensils from your cooking gadgets.
Be sure to have your gadgets stored near where you prep for cooking. These typically include items used for cutting, mixing, measuring, etc. Basically, anything that you would not use on the stove would be stored in a separate drawer from your cooking utensils. These gadgets should be stored near by where you have the largest amount of counter space. That way, you are able to spread out while prepping ingredients to cook and grab gadgets as you need them. You can then place the prepped items into bowls or containers to be readily available when you are ready to cook on the stove top.
Then, you will store your cooking utensils closest to your stove top for easy access. Cooking utensils are any utensils that you will use on the stove top while cooking. These typically include spatulas, turners, cooking spoons, tongs, etc. These should be separated from your cooking gadgets so that you can easily grab whatever utensil you need while cooking. When you organize your kitchen drawers this way, you are not rifling through gadgets when you need a spatula to flip your French toast before it burns.
