HOW TO ORGANIZE MIXING BOWLS AND COLANDERS

Mixing bowls and colanders are essential for food prep, but they can take up so much space … especially if you have a tiny kitchen. Before organizing your mixing bowls and colanders, you must purge the damaged ones and the ones you do not use. Be ruthless and purge the excess so you can more easily store what you do use.

How to Organize Mixing Bowls

I believe the simplest and easiest way to organize mixing bowls is to simply nest them. However, finding a spot where to nest them might be the issue for you.

I find that, just like for your cookware, you can install a pull-out cabinet organize to make accessing your mixing bowl set easier in deep cabinets (found here):

For tall cabinets, a stackable kitchen cabinet organizer is a great solution. You can store your mixing bowls on the cabinet shelf and your colanders on the organizer or vice versa (found here):

How to Organize Colanders

For narrow cabinets, I recommend purchasing collapsible colanders like this (found here):

This is a great option for hanging over your sink (found here):

You can also store these collapsible options on hooks. Otherwise, you may be able to nest your regular, non-collapsible colanders in your mixing bowls like I do in my own kitchen which I show you here. Then, you can use the solutions for organizing your mixing bowls like a noted above.
