Today’s quick tip is to create the easiest access to the most commonly lost “small things” in your kitchen by creating a mini junk drawer. Even if you do have a junk drawer, things like pens, tape, and sticky notes can easily get lost in them especially if they aren’t organized. Or, you just may not have any space for a designated junk drawer so keeping a magnetic bin or two on your fridge will keep these essential things easily available in a mini junk drawer when needed. You can label leftover dinner with the date it was made using a dry erase marker on plastic or glass. And a Sharpie is essential to label your food, so no one takes it!
