How to Know if You Need Pasta Containers

The typical number of servings in a box of pasta can serve a family of four to eight. So, in the typical household, I believe you are cooking a whole box of pasta. Or, if you have a smaller household, you may like to prepare enough food to have leftovers. In either case, you won’t be needing a container to hold any unused pasta. So, save yourself some money and leave those pretty containers at the store. Just line those boxes up on the shelf and you’re good to go! Or, if you need to store your pasta boxes and bags on a shelf that is slightly out of reach, you can use a handled bin like this (found here):

How to Organize Pasta Sauces

I believe it’s a good rule of thumb to organize your pasta sauces and other pasta recipe ingredients near your pasta. This will make meal-planning easier as you can take a quick look through your pantry and decide what pastas or sauces you might need to complete a meal. How to Decide How Many Containers You Might Need

If you do typically only cook a portion of a box or bag of pasta, then, utilizing pasta containers can be just what you need! BUT, how many different types of boxes or bags of pasta do you leave open all at once? And, what shapes or sizes of pasta do you typically purchase? It seems the only special container you would need is a tall container, like this one below, if you purchase spaghetti or linguini regularly and only use a portion regularly (found here):

So, you will either just need to purchase tall containers individually. Or, a set of these containers might work for you if you know you could make good use of the rest of the containers.
