How to Organize Oils & Vinegar for Free
If you haven’t noticed, healthier cold-pressed oils are stored in dark green bottles like these (found here):
The tinted glass keeps the oils from going rancid which can happen when they are exposed to light. Since stores already sell these oils in these green glass bottles, you can repurpose them to be reused over and over again. When your oil bottles are all the same size, it makes them easier to organize either on organizing solutions you may already have on hand or one of the solutions I share below. What I like to do is purchase my oils from Costco and repurpose oils bottles I purchased from Aldi. It is much easier to control the amount of oil you pour from the smaller oil bottles. You can leave the label as is, or you can re-label them using a label maker or a Cricut machine and vinyl like I shared in my kitchen tour here.
How to Organize Oils & Vinegar in Cabinets
Since the cabinet above the stove seems to be the one that gets the oiliest, if your oil bottles can fit up there, I think this upper cabinet is a great place to store your oils and vinegar bottles. Any cabinet close to your stove is ideal. Within cabinets, lazy susans or turntables are the best organizing solution. You will just want to use one that easy to wash clean and has non-skid surface like this (found here):
Just be sure to measure the depth of your cabinet for the best fit.
How to Organize Oils & Vinegar on Walls, Doors, or Inside Cabinet Doors
Using vertical space in your kitchen may be essential for you if you have a small kitchen. You may need to utilize wall space, the inside of a cabinet door, or your pantry door. You will just want to keep your oils and vinegar close to where you will use them most which is typically your stove. This organizer actually is magnetic so it can be stored on the side of your refrigerator (found here):
