What’s Included?

Included in this 4-week deep-clean your home challenge download, I provide you with the deep-clean your home calendar. In addition to that, I provide you with a complete guide full of cleaning tips and tricks for each day of the challenge. Even more, I share some of my best affordable, natural, homemade cleaning product recipes.

When Does the Challenge Start?

This deep-clean your home challenge starts May 4th, 2020 and ends May 31st, 2020. Each Saturday will be a catch-up day. And, each Sunday will be a rest day. However, you can start this deep-clean your home challenge any day you prefer. Also, if you find yourself being busier than expected during the weekdays, you can complete the weekday tasks on each Saturday instead.

How Do You Do This Challenge?

The “challenge” is not meant to be difficult as the word “challenge” can imply. Instead, this deep-clean your home challenge gets you through specific tasks, one at a time per day, throughout your home. That way, you will get your entire home sparkling clean by the time we all can (hopefully) go back to normal life!

The deep-clean your home challenge includes the following areas:

  • Kitchen drawers
  • Kitchen cabinets
  • Pantry
  • Range hood
  • Oven
  • Refrigerator
  • Freezer
  • Entertainment center
  • Linen closet
  • Coat closet
  • Bathroom vanities
  • Medicine cabinets
  • Makeup vanity and makeup bag
  • Nightstands
  • Dressers
  • Closets/wardrobes
  • Office
  • Garage/shed
  • Vents
  • Free-standing appliances

Why Would I Need to Do This Challenge?

The goal of the deep-clean your home challenge is to deep-clean all those hidden corners you’ve neglected. You do not have to make everything perfectly spot-free and like new. Just do the best you can to remove the dust and grime to improve air quality and make your home healthy again. Most importantly, your goal is to make your spaces easier to keep clean moving forward. This will happen as you notice how easy (or not easy) it is to remove your items from your shelves and cabinets. This is where you will decide if you will organize items into bins and baskets or other organizing solutions. That way, cleaning these spaces more frequently will be possible as you can easily move the container aside to clean behind and underneath. Finally, you will feel so refreshed and have peace in your home!
